Do you have to be 21 years old to play?

Yes, you must be 21 years old to play.



What forms of payment do you accept?

Check, Money Orders, and Cash are the ONLY forms of payment we can accept.

Can I register over the phone?

No. Your spot is not guaranteed without payment.



Who do I make my check out to?

Check may be made out to: MSU Alumni Association



What is the buy in fee?

If you get knocked out on the first day, you may try again on the 2nd day for another $100.

There are NO re-buys at the table for chips.



Which days do I need to play?

If you win the first day, you're not required back until Championship Round on the 3rd Day.



How many people are you taking?

We will be taking approximately 550 players each day - No player will be turned away



Where do I send my form / payment?

Forms and Payment may be sent to the Vegas Motel. Checks are made out to MSU Alumni.



What time is registration / time of play?

Registration will begin at 9am on Qualifying Days and Championship Day.

Play will begin at Noon on Qualifying Days and 10am on Championship Day.



If I pre-register, do I still need to be at Registration at 9am?

Yes, you do. At 9am we need to verify your payment, your age, and get you set up with a table and seat number.

If everyone who pre-registered doesn't show up until 11am, we won't be able to start on time.



What is the cost of the poker seminar?

It's FREE!



What time does the Seminar and Free Roll Start?

The Seminar will begin at 5:45pm and the Free Roll will begin approx. at 7pm.



Do I have to be at the Poker Seminar to play in the Free Roll?

No. However, those who DO attend the seminar will be entered first.



Do I get my money back if I pay for 2 days and win the first day?

No. You can however, try and re-sell your seat to another contestant. Or you can play both dates and keep your chip number from your biggest day.



Do I get my money back if I pay for the Poker Tournament and win the Free Roll?

Yes. If you win the free roll, you will be given your money back or you can re-sell your seat.



Can my family come and watch me play?

Yes! We encourage friends and family to come and give their support! There will be door prizes given away to keep things fun for everyone.



How many places do you pay-out?

We will pay-out to the top 40 places.
